Every year in cold and often wet February cadets from all over Norfolk and Suffolk take part in their Wing Cross Country Championship. This year 1895(Cromer) Squadron sent 8 cadets, the most in many years, to take part in the event.
Although no medals or trophies were won this year all the cadets were upbeat about the day. As Cadet Corporal Genny Keerie described the day, “It was cold but not that bad as we soon warmed up running about. Some of the course was muddy as it had rained hard the night before but it was firm under foot and we didn’t have any sliiping over issues. At least we stayed clean”.
